Founder Stanley Zazula, was raised on a farm in north central Alberta. As a young man, his love for anything mechanical grew into his passion. After graduating high school in Calgary, Stan found a need to further his technical education; Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) studying, Auto Mechanics, Boiler Engineering and Machine Shop & Welding, all of which fields he worked in.

In Drumheller, while firing boilers in a local coal mine, Stan found himself craving more education which led him to the Facility of Engineering at the University of Alberta for one year; he then transferred to the University of British Columbia where he graduated in 1955 with honours and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Stan took a job in Calgary with Shell Oil to gain a few years of drilling experience.

During this time, Stan was introduced to many companies and several are the equipment lines we represent today; Milton Roy, SPX Lightnin / Plenty, Busch and Smith & Loveless.

Sadly Stan passed away in 2016, as the founder and President of Zazula Process Equipment; he played an integral role in establishing a successful business in the process equipment sector. Zazula Process Equipment has grown from one man’s dream and dedication, to a thriving Alberta based company geared for the future.

Zazula’s future is now in the hands of  his son’s, Kerry and Yuri. They have the vision to carry the Zazula name, it’s strong tradition of sound engineering and fabrication, loyal customer service while continuing to represent premier equipment lines. The future holds well as additional products are positioned to find their way into the Zazula lineup for many years to come.
